It is positioned to provide a platform for yoga lifestyle, yoga and medical professionals to access continuing education, entry-level to advanced learning and networking opportunities. OHI is an extension of and is located on the premises of Nydia’s Yoga Therapy Studio in San Antonio, Texas.

Nydia Tijerina Darby is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga Specialist, Creative Director and Lead Trainer of the Open Hand Institute, and Director of Nydia’s Yoga Therapy Studio in San Antonio, Texas.
She has dedicated her life toward practicing what she preaches to the best of her abilities, encouraging and supporting others on their journey toward wholeness. One of her mantras: “I am in training for my next decade.”
