Lisa Ingle-Stevens has been practicing yoga for 16 years and teaching for 14. Her passion for people and learning are evident from the moment you meet her. She believes that hard work, consistency and fun are the keys to continuing to grow as a person. Her goal is to help spread the practice of yoga and movement and inspire others to become their best in all aspects of their lives.
Lisa is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a degree in Business Administration. Lisa took her first Bikram Yoga class in 2000, and immediately following her first class she knew than she wanted to teach yoga and help as many people as possible find this incredible life-changing practice. In the fall of 2002, Lisa completed the Bikram Yoga Teacher Training Certification program in Los Angeles, California. She is the co-founder of the The Union, Yoga and Strength where her first yoga studio opened in the spring of 2004. Since than she has co-opened an additional two yoga studio locations in the area to help spread and expand the healing benefits of this yoga to the community along with serving as a mentoring teacher and studio owner. She also currently co-owns two CrossFit studios, Bust A Move CrossFit, and has a Level 1 CrossFit certification along with a Level 1 Power Yoga certification. She currently teaches Bikram Yoga, Power Yoga and CrossFit classes. Lisa loves spending time with her husband Kyle, and her daughter Olivia. She enjoys nothing more than being with her friends and family and making the most out of life. Besides teaching yoga Lisa loves to dance, eat and challenge herself constantly to try and learn new things.
